lottie at last

Post: # 32791Post greenbean »

Hi,
I have made it to the top of the list, and am getting my allotment in a couple of weeks - I was told two years ago when I went onto the waiting list that the current turnover would predict I would have to wait 9 years! So I am thrilled to bits, looking forward to making new friends down at the site. I have had a great week as I have also got 5 laying hens, an absolute delight to watch and spend time with.

Congrats Greenbean, you have certainly had to wait a long time. :( It must make you a bit mad when people come on here saying they've got an allotment after very little waiting time! I hope you really enjoy it (and that it is not covered in brambles!). Good luck.

Er I made you mad then did not have to wait at all

It really does amaze me that there are so many deralict allotments all over the place and yet in some areas there just are not enough.

Anyway, well done you are very patient to wait that long and you have got one at a good time as you have plenty of time to plan it and get it ready for next season.
