 Finally my wife and I have completed our move to Wales. Yes, it's wet - but I don't care :drunken: . We have a two-acre meadow behind the house, and plan to grow so much food :flower: it's silly as well as rescue some battery hens. Linda also wants to get some sheep...and a donkey...and god only knows what else.

Anyway, just had to tell someone!

ooo we are in a similar position - just bought a place with 2 acres - not sure what we are going to do with it!

what you gonna do first?

we concentrating on daft things like.. floors that hold people up at the mo. want to bung some fruit trees in this year tho - as it will make a whole year's difference to cropping...

Yay digiveg! I'm really pleased for you and very jealous at the same time. So, when's the housewarming (smallholdingwarming)? I can bring a bottle of 16-year-old home brewed coffee wine. It's lovely, like a dry sherry.

Well done Digi and nice to see you back on the forum. I guess that means things aren't so mad any more - sorry I haven't rung but you know how crap I am! Please start a bit of a blog so we can all keep an eye on you. I'll try to ring at the weekend, promise (and that skype headset has to turn up sooner or later!)

You going to rename the house after the frog? And has Linda tried kissing it in case it's Myrddin in disguise?
