White Beans

This year we grew white emergo? climbing beans, we have collected quite a few dry mature seeds, has anyone ever cooked them???? and if so how and what did you use them in, The beans are quite big remind me a bit of butter beans........

Something I make with butter beans is a pasta, gouda cheese and butter bean bake. It's delicious - cook it in a similar way to macaroni cheese and you can add courgettes, tomatoes or most other vegies. I usually mix in some black pepper, a bit of taragon and some nutmeg into dishes like that.
Although I don't eat it a bit of ham would probally taste good in the dish too.
