Hello music lovers - I went to see a band on Thursday called Misty's Big Adventure this is their Myspace site - http://www.myspace.com/mistysbigadventure
They've got a song on there called Two Brains which I think would be perfect for the films on the selfsufficientish.tv site was wondering what people think to the song and if they think we should use it? Funky Monkey is alright but I can't help thinking it doesn't make too much sense for the films.
And why I'm here my old housemate Octavia wanted me to put a link up to her blog site so here's that too - www.littleoctavia.blogspotcom

It gets the thumbs up from me... it seems very appropriate and is catchy and I'll no doubt be singing along.
I still love the funky monkey song... and my son thinks its ace too... he sings it out of the blue.

He still sings it, wow - I think we really did create a monster with that one! I'm going back to Northampton in a couple of weeks so might see if I can pick up a couple of copy's of the promo CD and pop it in the post for your son. I think we still have 200 or so left!
Glad you like the Misty's song thought it was dead apropriate when I first heard it.

*laffin my ar*e off here*
Not sure why but when I first downloaded I got the song called Evil...
And I was sitting here thinking What the....?
Was beginning to think I had uncovered the evil twin theory thing...
Could not for the life of me, work out why you were suggesting that. And then when I realise I have stuffed up, I get the two brains/twin one!
doo-doo doo-doo [insert irony music or similar]
Two Brains is much better. They have a heaps good sound and I could picture the pair of you buzzing about to that beat. That guys voice is not much chop though is it? He reminds me of that comedian who doesn't move his face. Is that his girlfriend trailing in from the right? ...Just wondering.
Sounded like Santa was arriving at the start. Made me look.
It's got it all!
It's fun, and so are you guys. Should be good. Works for me.

Wish I could but the song breached a lot of copyright laws and we were never allowed to release it. We used the tune of 'Go West' and EMI sent us a nasty letter back saying (amongst other things) "you shall not utalise and/or exploit our copyright in any way with our prior written express approval". Which means the CD's are bird scarers at best now.Could you perhaps sell the discs here to raise money for the site? Or auction them in the auction bit?
However.... ...My band is thinking of making an album - we could sell that on the site.
