Sorry - it's over on the Neeps! site - it's a food co-op that we've set up. We buy in bulk and share it out - it's a great way to avoid the supermarket YAY.

I collate the orders and then we have a sharing day - which is also a good opportunity for cake, a cuppa and a natter.

right... I thought it must be something like that. do you order from greencity?

I'm a bit concerned about the food sitch up in Caithness... pretty dour. The closest veg box scheme is just outside Inverness and there is a little health food shop in thurso.. but, we are 35 miles from thurso. I know there is quite a few people up there that would be totally interested in a food coop and I've looked at greencity but, they don't deliver that far as far as I know. the best advantage in life down here in Edinburgh is the variety and ease of which you can find "Real Food"... I'll miss it but, hoping when we go up north in a few months for good I'll be able to rectify the situation. got any suggestions?

Contact Suma - it's dead straight forward. www.suma.coop

We have to order over £300 at a time to get the delivery - it might be a bit more for up where you are, but they'll let you know when you get in touch with them. They don't send up the chilled stuff though - I guess because of the need for a refrigerated vehicle.

There is Highland Wholefoods in Inverness too - I haven't used them but I think that's where our local Co-operative Stores gets some stuff from.

I'm always on the look out for more info and happy to share any info that I find.

gotta go... J is 'making' something in the kitchen
