Has ethical man been demoted?

Ethical man, minus jacket, would appear to have been sent off to the colonies, reporting from Korea on tonight's "newsnight"......

maybe they're going o be looking into natural and ethical cures for radiation sickness next week...

Or maybe they've realised what a tw*t he is and decided to scrap his stupid 'experiment'.

I hope he has travel insurance from climatesure, and that he got to Korea by boat/train. Planes are not overly ethical are they?!

Well, I finally got around to looking up the allegedly Ethical Man on Newsnight and found some of his writing provocative in an inane way.

But then I read one of the posts in reply to one of his blog entries, Ethical Man my a***, read it again and again, did some research of my own and was even more amazed that the BBC had let the post run without any qualification or moderation.

The post, which "scientifically" rebuts global warming, is actually a piece of propaganda from quarrying lobbyists, a former adviser to Tony Blair, and consultants to both the oil and tobacco industries.

When I tried to complain about the post and have it properly moderated, I discovered the BBC doesn't regard fraudulent or misleading posts as grounds for complaint.

Grrrrr! :angryfire:

So I sent in my own post and then put all the details, including references, on my blog. So much for the BBC's much vaunted moderation!

When people read the post in question, most will take it at face value and feel even more justified in continuing to ignore global warming and preserve their energy profligate lifestyles.

Mind you, I've also discovered that the Guardian happily quotes one of the people mentioned in the original post, citing him as emininent scientist from MIT - with no mention of his oil and tobacco links...

To say I'm annoyed is an understatement. :angryfire: :angryfire:

I just replied to it too, giving my own personal thoughts on EM.

I tried to refrain from the absolute truth...

i did write about that in my post that couldn't posted...

I pointed out that next time, he should refrain from wearing cheap suits, taking the piss out of naked people and poking his nose in the womens dome...

Oh, and that BGG was for REAL ethical people, or people who want to be ethical, not tw@ts like him.

If he's there next year, there might be an accident involving some kind of vegan food, me and his cheap suit...it'll be hot food too!

Or possibly sugar and his f***king dieseld generator...
