Disabled parking bays

supermarkets and the like are obliged to put in disabled parking bays. However, as they are on private property.. it is not down to the traffic warden or police to enforce the correct use - and many a supermarket does not care.. they did their bit by painting a sign.

I have been told by our paed that we could easily get a blue badge, but we have not done so as we get by, and have parking at our house etc. tyhe only place it might be handy is at the hospital and then there are never any spaces of any kind.... I find it ironic that we go to visit the orthotist (foot specialist to us) and have to walk for miles from a far away parking lot!
