Er, sorry M3 - Wasn't laughing at you or the situation. Was laughing with Stoney! We must have chimed in at the same time.

I've been sacked a few times. All fo them not my fault!!

I worked in the pub trade for 10 years. there, as soon as the regulars get used to a barmaid, she gets the sack.

However, last week i heard that the last landlord that sacked me is going to court - he's been money laundering and blaming it on staff stealing...you can guess why i was sacked! I can't wait to go and watch this little beauty take off!

Was sacked from being a barmaid when I was 18. Was in the local working men's club.

I was collecting glasses in the snooker room (no women allowed except bar staff), when a very elderly gent backed me into a corner and tried to have his way with me (he was old enough to be my grandpa and then some) and I threw a glass at him (totally missing him and hitting a wall).

I was "let go" because apparantly I should have just let him do what he wanted; he was a committee member and a regular and he "meant no harm". Besides, I was 18, with long blonde hair and big boobs, that's what all girls who look like that want, isn't it?

Since I didn't really like the job, I wasn't that bothered, but it did put me off barwork forever...

My aim is a lot better now!

Got sacked from my first job, i was only 16, it was a staff canteen in a curtain factory, dont think i did anything wrong, was told i dident fit in!! Iv'e walked out of loads of jobs, usualy because of shitty owners, managers. Spent 3 years in a camera shop, the owner was a real tyrant,he was'ent around much, but 1 day he pushed me too far & i walked. Then i sold HI FI for 2 years, had a fall out with a new manager & yep i walked! this time he got sacked & they asked me to come back,as i was "their best salesman" Also walked out of a pub/restraunt & the best 1, worked in a bakery for a day 6am start - 5pm 6 days a week for £35 a week,no thanks!! The only other time i was sacked was a Dutch style veggi cafe in Leeds, was owned by a couple of w*****s who expected me to cater for more than 100 people with only 1 waitress to help & then moaned because i had'ent prepared anything for the eve shift!! & they did'ent allways have cash to pay me,sometimes paying me with their other sidline "non culinary herb". Havent had a "proper job" since! The last 20 years iv'e been either self employed or unemployed & i dont think i could work for anyone else now.A.
