Was there anything good worth passing on? Anyone want to review it for the benefit of those who didn't/can't see it?

its a showing the basics of veg growing setting up beds what to put in them ,showing digging trench for spuds etc ,blight resistance varities.and a young family doing there veg plot from scratch digging trench for runner beans putting cardboard in etc muck and wetting for moisture reterntion etc its good very basic but thars briefly what happened this episode more to follow. but help ful and a refreshing change from gardeners worlds 97.5 percent on flowers ornamental and 2.5 on veg growing.its sort programme you can sit down with a nice glassd of wine , beer or fosters or castlemaine xxxx.

I was really excited to watch it but found it a little too chintzy for my liking. There were too many songs and fancy, hazy shots of her garden & watching that young family cuddling and laughing in their garden rather than getting on a showing u how to grow veggies was not what I had hoped for. I was dissappointed can u tell lol

it was ok - not specific enough I think - you know if she said when you lant J artichokes.. i missed it... - lots of enthusing... but for beginers, it might be better if it were more 'this is what you do' based and less fancy shots etc. still I shall carry on watching it, and it is bound to get a few more people interested in the idea.

I was disappointed too. Not much useful information for beginners and no warning about Jerusalem artichokes and what they do to your guts!

Plant J. Artichokes before march (I'm going to plant some on friday) 15" apart and 5" down. Watched the show, I'd never realised quite how large artichokes get :)
