And the award for political plonker goes to...

Post: # 45502Post Stonehead »

...David Miliband. I heard him on the radio just now saying that organic food is a lifestyle choice and that there's no proof it's better, blah blah.

I had to dash (okay, stagger) upstairs to post this. Does he really think a lifetime intake of pesticide and other chemical residues is good for you? Does he really think conventionally grown fruit and veg with copious applications of pestivides, insecticides, fungicides, herbcides etc are good for the environmment?

No. He's one of:

a. Plonker
b. Deep in the pockets of agri-business
c. Been eating a Gummer burger (remember those?)
d. All of a, b and c (most likely in my view).

Still, he did manage to get me riled up so I must be improving.

looking at the bloke, I am reminded of Ann Widdecombe's comment about Michael Howard - "There is something of the night about him"..........
A strange bloodless look that appears to shun the sun and fresh air - probably scuttles for cover when the sun starts to rise! :cooldude:

Amateurs encouraged - very keen prices and friendly helpful service!

I find it rather strange that he's purportedly the same age as me but looks as if he's barely out of nappies. What's he got in his attic?

Look, really - we can't be doing politics based on what they look like. Can we?

I mean, I could be in dead trouble if the strength on my political values can be dismissed because I look a bit ropey.
