We love hearing from you, so here is your chance. Introduce yourself and tell us what makes you selfsufficient 'ish'. Go on don't be shy, we welcome one and all. You can also tell us how you heard about us if you like.

Hello from Liverpool

Post: # 45708Post JasonP71 »

Hi all - got to say that this site and forums look great so far. I had a browse around last night, came back on tonight and decided to join.

My partner and I have four kids (aged between three and eleven) and are looking to turn over a third of our garden to fruit and veg this year, and extend next year, etc... with the aim of becoming as self sufficient as we possibly can.

We've grown a few bits before and were fairly successful - but we're really looking forward to this. The kids are keen to help too and it's proving to be an excellent project for them, since we educate them at home.

Looking forward to meeting you all... (I take it I have to wear the kaftan for a bit!!!)

Jason.

Thanks for the warm welcome and now that I'm home from work I'll put the kaftan back on!

Red, we were at HESFES down your neck of the woods, two years ago. Missed the mudslide last year though!
