As many as you think right! But I am curious.

My stuff isn't everyone's cuppa tea, but the man from the Beeb said that it stuck out from the rest of the poetry he sees. That's enough to make me a happy gal!

Well done Shiney, you should be very chuffed with yourself. Clap, clap. :flower: Yes, we all identify with the grey but comfy old bra. I sense a new Pam Ayres in the making, only better looking! (no disrespect to Pam, bless her). Good luck with the book rights.
Do you like Sylvia Plath? Should perhaps shift to another forum here..

I hadn't read your other poems earlier on, as I was supposed to DO SOME WORK for goodness' sake... (I still am!) How do you get the ideas? Are you an Elvis fan?

I really like the one on all nighters... Even without kids in the house it's just not fun any more. Gosh, I feel terribly old if I even stay out until midnight... Funny enough, working half the night (or just mucking about at the computer  ) does not seem to be quite so tiring.

And now I must have another look at those b****y figures!

Onyer Shiney,

I voted too! Well done................

I gotta admit, I have trouble identifying with a grey but comfy bra!

Great poems Shiney - yes I have a couple of those bras lurking.....

I'm not much into poetry but your poems are understandable! Well done.

Thank you all!

Ina, I am not an Elvis fan. The idea came from just talking about his rather bad eating habit with a friend. And so it came to pass...!

Nev, you should really try out a bra sometime. Go liberate yourself. I will tell no one.

MMM, I am pleased you have a few of those old favourites in the drawer.

Greanbean, thanks for your comments ~ I have a Pam Ayres hairdo this morning. Must have slept heavy!

Hey, you dark horse! I've come across some more of your poems on French Entree in Tracey's Downshifting section. I wouldn't have known it was you had you not blatantly self-publicised yourself here! Yet more great poems.

(I go on the FE Brittany forum, that's how I found myself 'wandering' around in there).

Thanks MMM,

My 15 mins of fame are over now on the Beeb but I am in the archive section still. I rated 3 stars which is OK. Poetry is not everyone's favourite and the sort I write only appeals to some folks as I don't write about misty hollows and lost loves!

FE is a good site for people needing information about moving to France, it's packed with good advice and peoples experiences of living there.
