I would like to be about 16 in the late fifities, this would enable me to be old enought to 'experiance' the sixties I could travel to London to see the Stones in Hyde Park and follow all the bands that I love these days , I would need my knowledge of today so that it would be a bit Life On Mars, I could see Cream Hendrix and wear all the groooovy fashions,

To this day I don't know if I was a witness to that event. I didn't actually attend it, and was fairly young at the time, but around about then I went on a Sunday School outing up to London for the day, and on the way back to the station to catch the train home, the Sunday School teacher took us through Hyde Park to listen to people at Speaker's Corner.Welsh Girls Allotment wrote:I could travel to London to see the Stones in Hyde Park
We became aware of a tremendous din in the distance, with a lot of young people milling around, and as we neared the source of the noise it became clear that it was an open concert of some sort. Unfortunately, we never got to see who was on the stage, and as we left for the train the SS-teacher said "Well, now you've seen hippies at work."
