Well..................... last week I was up in Brisbane for work and I contacted Green Girl to see if she wanted to meet up. After she finished work on Thursday night we had dinner at a local Mexican eatery and talked until nearly midnight. As she is now living with her parents I hope they weren't worried about her being out late with some weirdo off the net .

Anyway I am happy to report that she is a really lovely person! and if Mrs Wombat reads this.................................I'm dead!

When Mrs Wombat picked me up from the airport she was dressed up to the nines and the motorway home was blocked so we went and, on impulse, booked into the Novotel and spent the night, had a nice feed etc. Greedy, yes and exceptionally lucky? Youbetcha!

I also wish to make a change to my oscars vote - Boots gets the wooden spoon! (deliberately embarrass me will you, woman!)
