It's nice to know that, as many of us in the UK are being warned about the imminent possibility of water shortages and hose-pipe bans, the world of 'Contemporary Art' (cough, splutter) has really got it's finger on the pulse of contemporary society.
Or do I mean '...has really got its head stuck right up its own backside'?

That was my first reaction, too - it would look like a tap left on and bring across the same message... Actually, I remember seeing something similar in a museum in Frankfurt some years ago, or rather, hearing it - if I remember rightly, it was just the sound of constantly running water. Brought the message across just as well.
But looking at his other "works of art" - what's artistic in sitting in a bath of beans for 12 days? That man really is nuts. I've never understood the sense in that; some people even do it for charity - how can such a waste of food be connected in any way with "doing good"!!!
