Post: # 51417Post maggie144 »

Hi everyone

I was wondering how we are supposed to put veggies in, in what is meant to be spring when here in cumbria at the moment we have a 60mph wind and snow,

the goats are locked down and the rabbits too, but my poor garden looks like its got a bad case of dandruff :flower:

Spring starts about Wednesday!

As soon as it was light this morning, I looked out and thought - OMG it's snowing! Actually it was the beginning of a hail shower, but everything turned white for a while! I let the chooks out and they started eating it.

I know how you feel, In Reading, I have a little apple tree in a bucket in the garage, I am scared to put it out incase it dies from the cold or gets blown over! Any advice would be helpful. I know its not going to do very well in the garage!
