I missed being here. I'm about to dive in again to the forum - see what I've missed out on!

Already been diving back into my garden. Last year ended up being quite the flop I simply couldn't do it all alone and keep up with my studies. This year I've managed to get OH onboard to help more - which he'll have to do since I'm away for conferences and fieldwork a lot this summer.

I got a small portable greenhouse for my birthday, which I love. Also very useful since my two new cats eat any sprouts/greenery.

Hiya there Mandyz,

Good to have you back. I can sympathise with the effort to keep up with the forum as well as the gardening & everything else.

I've started a P/T job & with the CFS & the seed sowing, I've largely dropped out of the forum too. And the housework has been totally ignored. I'm inviting my framily round on Fri night to give me an incentive to vacuum...

OMG, let's not even discuss housework!
I've been so focused on getting the gardens back on track that housework has been totally neglected.
My neat-freak aunt from out of town called yesterday to say she was in town and would like to drop by to see the new kitchen...
First step was to make sure the kitchen itself was presentable, then I always make sure the bathroom sink and toilet are decent (you can always close the shower curtain...)
and I just had to say - ignore the gardening supplies/seeds/soil and footprints, etc everywhere...

When not in the garden I'm preparing papers, which... I've got to go meet with a colleague about a paper we co-wrote. She recently got back from presenting our paper in the UK. (Wish I could have gone too!) Off I go to wash up (lunch break right now).
