Is it me????

Post: # 58129Post Milims »

Each morning on the way to work I listen to Terry on Radio 2 and quite alarmingly I've begun to recognise some of the TOG traits in me. For example - the other day whilst doing a cross word there was a clue that said "farm bird" (3) - the first thing that popped into my head was Emu!
The other night I woke myself up in the early hours by singing "if you're happy and you know it clap your hands" complete with the actions!
Today I cut myself twice. I work with sharp power tools, stanley knives, heavy duty snips and sharp metal, yet I managed to cut myself making a sandwich and reaching into a box!!!
Is it just me or is there anyone else out there sliding into the world of bizzarre pottiness???
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

I am not going senile, I have always been like this.

Just because they have a nice label for it when you are older...

I find frozen food in cupboard and tins in the freezer from time to time. I have also weeded out parsnips instead of weeds.

But you will have to go a long way to beat this contestant on who wants to be a millionaire. -

I've found it happended since I had kids, before offspring I was a together, smart professional regarded highly by my peers. Now there are days when it'll get to lunchtime before I realise I haven't brushed my teeth yet, or the eternal handbag hunts that make my days exciting, eggs in the freezer, purse in the fridge, names escaping me, What day we're on a mystery. My OH has the theory that I have the same amount of smarts I always had but they are spead more thinly than they were before, I hope its true as at least there's light at the end of the tunnel then!
