100W CFL light bulb (500W)

Post: # 57963Post OurEcoHouse »

I used to use 500W bulb when I was taking some pictures, so I thought, there must be an energy saving bulb somewhere I could use instead.

Well I've found one on ebay, ordered it and here it is.

From the left: a bulb we use in our bedroom (11W), old 500W bulb, and new 100W CFL light bulb

A bit larger but energy saving

WOW that's BIG!

How do you use it for photography? I'm intrigued.

I have a cubelite cube and I use the bulb for illuminating the stuff. Except OurEcoHouse website I also run publicdomainpictures website (http://www.publicdomainpictures.net) where I put my pictures so people can use them completely for free. You know, just giving something to the community. :-)
