Renewables

Post: # 58879Post confusedwhippet »

If anybody is interested I obtained lots of information on renewable energy, wind turbines, wood pellet boilers, solar pv etc etc. from the All Energy exhibition in Aberdeen. Just drop me a mail with any questions and I will sort through the big pile of literature to see if I can help.

Hi cf...what would be the cheapest wood pellet boiler, is it thousands or hundreds ? Know a grant is available.

Will look through all the info and let you know. They seemed to range from approx 1k to 8K depending on the output required. Any ideas what kW you need?

Come to think of it, a stand alone unit is what is needed here.
Already have gas central heating, and thought maybe this free wood I can get could make savings.
Had a Rayburn for years but like someone said on this forum, hot when \I didn't need it and cold when I did.
Perhaps a 4kw woodburner, do they do 'em free
