I started the day out well : started filling the sink in the bathroom, then ran downstairs when the doorbell rang, it was my OH with a big bunch of flowers, so I went to put them in a vase, had a little chat to him..... and forgot about the water upstairs

When I finally went up, I had an indoor swimming pool.

I know I'm a year older but I thought memory loss was gradual!

Thanks all!
We were supposed to sign the contract for our new house yesterday, but the seller turned up without 2 important documents (permits from the council for work which was done 10 years ago!) so we had to postpone everything and will try again in a couple of weeks time

My husband, Bruno, had gone to so much trouble to organize it all for my birthday. I'll just have to celebrate again when we DO sign!!
