Wow this post was started in 2005 - and thanks because it was also the first post(ish) that I made to Ina about bags... and I still haven't given her the instructions for the bag!
Ina... we've met many times since this post... I've still got the pattern if you want to see it... I'll bring it along to the Taste of Grampian on Saturday if you remind me about 10 times.

A link from BBC Breakfast this morning to morsbags with patterns to make one.
I'm increasingly of the belief that any shops situated on or near retails parks only serve to make people unhappy.

Probably too long ago - half a lifetime!Cornelian wrote:Andy - that link in your email letter goes nowhere but to a 404 error page.

Goodness me, this thread shows how long ago Shirley and I met. Yes, please, bring along that pattern, I still don't have a stringbag! But about twice as many clothbags now than at the time of that post.

I think the carry a bag campaign is now clearly in the public domain.
Is it time to think about starting a new campaign? Perhaps one to reduce the amount of plastic used for packaging?

Oh yes - good idea. Especially the plastic trays that you get meat in at the supermarket. What a waste. Surely there is a better way?Andy Hamilton wrote:I think the carry a bag campaign is now clearly in the public domain.
