He's speaking to me again, and she's still ignoring me.

Ah well. Work feels better today.

Earlier on, he gave her some of his lunch because she 'has a bad tummy' so my boss gave him a joking telling off by telling him that it was blatant favouritism.

Hopefully, this will all blow over by next week.

The definitely still arrived together...and she's been wearing his jumper for the past few hours...

Missed your opportunity there. You should have asked if she was pregnant...

Dammit! I wish i'd thought of it!! She has been asking whether you can fly when you're pregnant lately...

Curiouser and curiouser.

I'm not the only one now...one of my other coworkers asked if they were having a 'bit of a fling' earlier today. i kept my gob shut...

You could take up knitting baby clothes and ask her opinion........
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Hi Fee Fairy

Hope that the Bank Holiday weekend (I'm presuming you don't have to work) gives you some time to relax away from all of this.

It's an unpleasant situation and I know I'd be feeling much the same as you about it. Exclusion is horrible. I think I'd definitely try the jokey approach to it if I could summon up the strength! They need to be made to see how ridiculously they are behaving.

Good luck.

If he's talking to you again now, maybe you should quietly tell him that there are a lot of rumours going around that the two of them are having an affair. Maybe he'll come to his senses.

Good luck on Tuesday.

I'm going to leave him to it to be honest. I spoke to him before he gave me the silent treatment and gently explained that there are rumours going round, and that he should be careful because the people who work behind him know her husband really well, and he took the pi$$, saying 'oh, you're trying to stop me talking to my friends now'. So i told him that no, i wasn't, i was merely giving him a bit of a heads up, and it was up to him whether he took my advice or not, but i was only giving the advice once and then leaving him to do whatever he wants.

So now, i figure that he's been warned (my boss has warned him too) so on his head be it!!

Hopefully, the bank holiday will have smoothed a lot of things, but i still get the feeling that they'll have been out for coffee/down the pub together and will ahve been chatting about it. I think she likes the fact that he's only talking to her - she wants to attention. She exhibits possessive behaviour the whole time!!

Ah well, he'll just have to live with it. I#ll try not to say 'i told you so' when it all blows up...
