I'm looking for a charity - a REAL one..........Having collected throught the summer for a major charity (which will remain nameless), I was horrified to find that they have a chunk of trendy and doubtless power-guzzling office block in London (doubtless at vast expense), and appear to give light paid work for a bunch of hooray Henriettas.
Further enquiries show that 23% of what they raise goes on "expenses"........
Am I being perfectionist, or shouldn't a REAL charity be entirely voluntary, with ALL the funds raised going to the needy?
Any suggestions for a good charity for next year's collections?
