What on earth do they all polish? It must be clean as a whistle there    (sorry   )

I get the impression from everyones posts that you can use almost anything. How long do you put them in the microwave for?

When I worked at Kleeneze we had a complaint from trading standards. A customer had purchased one of our wheat bags and the instructions didn't say that you should leave it for 1 minute after heating. (They went to trading standards for that  ). We were very tempted to change the instructions to read "if it's too hot take it off you idiot!".

Anyway, the point is that microwave energy stays inside the item for a minute or two so it could (theoretically) continue to heat up after you take it out of the microwave. So, if you feel it getting a bit too hot - take it off!

Cheers
Zoe

I have only used a wheat bag a couple of times when I had a bad back, but it worked a treat!

Well, nowadays you can't expect an ordinary customer to have common sense.

Actually, it should say in the instructions for the microwave not to take stuff out immediately after the ping, because it continues cooking for a while.... Makes me mad, seeing most people rip the door open and take whatever it is out. Wastes energy, too.
