Anyone got goat or horse hair?

Post: # 76682Post Annpan »

Can any one offer me a quantity of goats or horse hair to save me a bit of cash?

We need some for doing a bit of lime plastering and I thought I might as well ask... we'll need quite a bit though, maybe a kilo or two.

I'd pay for postage, maybe a swap with a wee house plant or something.

Thanks
Ann Pan

Wrong time of year sadly, ask me again in the spring when they are all moulting and it would be no problem at all to get you a kilo or so (after all we have five of them all moulting huge quantities at once!)

We ended up getting some for free from the place that sold us the plaster... you don't actually need as much as I thought. They do sell it for £15 per kilo, but I guess that is for trade sales... They obviously could tell that we were just buying it for ourselves, it could have been that we took our baby with us

Thanks for the offer anyway, I'll keep it in mind if I need any in the future.
