Thats lovely hamster.

Do you have Jo Verso books? They are my favourite, I like the quirky cute style. I used to borrow them from my sister but I have been trying to pick them up in charity shops and got one for £3 a few weeks ago. It might be a while before I get round to making another one though. Quite time consuming, eh?

Yeah, most of the individual designs are from Jo Verso, with a bit of tweaking. Best charity shop purchase I ever made! I love her books, and much prefer them to a lot of the others I've seen, mostly because she recommends working on linen, so you can do three-quarter stitches, which creates a much more realistic impression and allows you to use much more detail. Linen's quite a bit more expensive than normal cross stitch fabric, though, so I only use it for special things.

Thank you for all your nice comments, everyone. :flower:

That is really lovely! I am not surprised it took you a while to do. I am sure it will be treasured.

That's pretty!

I've got a great book somewhere, and i can't remember the author, but its got fantasy patterns - they're really nice.

Well done! I admire your patience - i only ever cross stitched motifs, because i got bored too quickly!
