Update-Snowing Again
Well here we are a week later and its snowing again, not so heavily this time. We'll see how it looks in the morning.
I figure it snowed because we unhooked the wood heater and are using the furnace again-Don't Mess with Mother Nature!
We've got lots of food in and plenty of candles and a kerosene lamp, we'll just carry on, even if we lose power.

weather
I just love the snow. We get some light falls hear a few times a year in winter but it can go down to -18 degrees. Regularly to -10 though. (not at this time of year ha!)
We have missed the hail Nev, just very wet - in fact it has been raining almost every day for the last month - we are taking some more swimming lessons ha! Geese, ducks and pigs very happy though.
Mare Owner - Loved the picture of the horses in the snow - beautiful.

don't you have to take two driving tests in canada? one in dry weather and one in snow? or is that just for people coming to canada from europe?
here it's been really sunny and dry, but REALLY cold today. we had loads of ice on the car still at 10am!

No we only take one test.
I just wish all trainee RCMP had to take 2 tests-we get as many RCMP cars in the ditch as we do normal people
