I'm in a funk

Post: # 79316Post Tomr »

I just thought I'd tell you lot and share a bit of pre-xmas misery.

Had a really bad day at work and came home to find a message from a girl I thought I was getting on with 'very well' saying can she bring her new boyfriend when we meet up for a drink on friday.

What a mean girl! I really hate to tell you but that is a euphemism for "I don't fancy you"! Never mind, cheer up, there are plenty more fish in the sea!

I've found that, too - many times. But there are other times when it's (a bit) better.

Nope, she's definitely not worth it if she's treating you like that.

Go find a nicer one!

If it were me, i'd be actively looking for a nicer one when i met up with her for drinks, but that's just me...

Yeah mate, sounds like she's not worth the effort. Do the mature thing and go let all her tyres down!
