interesting & recent issue 4 me. I arrived home from xmas visit 2 see a small wind turbine spinning around merrily in the breeze. My mate had built it in the space of a week with spare bits and pieces lying about his croft. He used a motor from 1 of these big laser copiers. genius! It's a prototype he says but, now i have light besides candles into the wee hours & can charge my moby to use the net! Yay! Today, he turned up with a homemade split charger to use in the defender and added a light to the turbine wiring that lets me ken how much of a charge im getting. What a great mate and his resourcefulness is uncanny. Just tells you what 1 can come up with diy though ay?
