Now i found this useful, and i am sure someone else will too...i find that often, it is assumed that every one should know how to make a good compsot pile, but sometimes, i think that the assumption is a disguise for half of the people guessing...dont add this, dont add that...now, sure, at the end of a day most things will rot down and be good to use in the garden, but, well, i got the link from a relatively useful HDRA book, and there are other links, as well as a forum with some daft and some not-so-daft questions answered, and seems to be some good experience/knowledge lurking in there...I found it useful, as i end up having to use compost for my potting mixes too (cant buy potting compost here) and battle with too wet, too hot, too dry conditions year round, so anything on compost is worth a read at this end... hope someone finds it useufl!
