Hi All,

I wrenched my back just before Christmas and then aggravated it by trying to finish my novel over too short a desk, then I got the flu, so I have been generally out of action.I hope everyone had a great holiday season. It was VERY quiet here, Rick made dinner while I supervised, but I was in too much pain to eat.

Otherwise things are okay now, we're thinking ahead to the garden. But I had better stay off my horse, he gave me a bit of a bounce yesterday and I stayed on, but will have a bruise where the sun don't shine!

Hugs
Lois

Hi Lois, Glad you are feeling better. Back pain is really difficult no matter what profession you are in. I was an equestrian coach for many years and many riders have bad backs for all sorts of reasons - difficult. What is the novel you are writing ? (if it is OK to talk about on here).

Hey Lois!

Happy New Year! Great to see you back amongst us, but sorry to hear about the back. I've done the odd nasty to my back over the years and can appreciate you pain.

Hi Lois, good to see you back! Yep, back pain is something I understand very well, too... And horse riding is not the best of all cures for that.

What's your weather like at the moment - is it really wintery at yours?
