Nod nod
online mates/friends
- some of my best friends who I now see often in the 'forreal' I met first in online forums . It's the real friendship/fellowship of places like Ish - where people chat, help, advise and rarely judge, that throws into contrast the generality of dinner party friends, golf club friends, workmates etc
Say what you mean and be who you are, Those who mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind
MWF - it confuses me too - it's taken me ages to work out the likes of DD, DS, DW and IYKWIM lol!
We do consider you lot as friends - and one day we may even meet in the "forreal" - which would be really cool!
I know from first hand experience how close on-line friends can become - I'm marrying one of mine!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

I refer to you as friends, but then I have to explain why I'm always talking about these friends and yet simultaneously complaining about not knowing anyone I get on with around here....
They're not weeds - that's a habitat for wildlife, don't you know?
I am forever referring to things I've learnt on here as having come from my friends, I am always updating my husband on Stoney's pigs and trials and tribulations
It seems easier to say my friend rather than people I met on the internet it makes you seem a bit kooky ! Not that it usually bothers me being thought of as kooky but when you mention 'people I talk to on the internet' people look at you sideways
I'm the same I refer to people I know from other forums as my friend so and so or I have a friend who.... I hope I will soon be refering to you guys in the same way too.
