Just joined and wanted to say a Hello to everyone.
We are a home educating family living in Lincolnshire.
Have just made a huge pan full of the yummy carrot & rice soup, recipe I found on here, big thanks to whoever it was posted that.
Have also found the Lincolnshire small holdings group ( am filling in membership form this afternoon ) we dream of having a small holding but are content at the mo with our back garden & greenhouse.

Really look forward to getting to know you and hopefully meeting some of you.

Hi and welcome, Denise. I think there are a few home ed-ing folk here, including our family.

What are you growing at the moment? Wish I had a glasshouse... tomatoes don't do so well outside here.

Hello Denise,

The thing to do is give us advanced notice of when you next cook up something yummy, and then we'll all come round and meet you.

That Lincolnshire group seems to be pretty vibrant, judging by what we hear of it on here.

Hi and welcome to Self Suffish. The Lincolnshire SS group sounds like fun - wish there was something like that around here!

Hi Denise,
I am guessing from your name that you are in Nocton village near Nocton Hall, I know it well, what a lovely part of Lincolnshire. My all time favourite village name is near you 'Wasps Nest', well more of a hamlet than a village. Welcome to the site, Greenbean.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome .. yes we are in Nocton and walk the dog out around Wasps Nest often .... although one of my fav village names has to be from when I was growing up in Kent .. a place called Pratt's Bottom !!!

Look forward to getting to know you all
