My local home brew shop now sells Bru Clean, I'v eused this it's OK. However I did a quick google, and I some times buy products from this on line home brew shop, and they still sell Chempro

So you know how great Salsify is as a veg, what about Cavero Nero, great leaves all through the winter , then in Spring sprouting broccolli like flowers! Takes up half as much room as broccolli

I clean mine in soap and water then stick them in the Rayburn to cook for a while. Works with jam jars, so should be ok with demijons.

I use either Milton, or that powder (sodium bisulphate?) that's sold as steriliser in homebrew shops.
I also have a tendency to leave the demijohn filled with sterilising liquid (either water and the aforementioned powder, or water and milton) until i need to use it again.
