there will be a threee day gathering on a new site in South of England, details released after AGM (23rd Feb), hoping for full festie in 2009 back on original site nr Cheddar.

So sit tight until end of Feb. If anyone wants to be a shareholder, get on with it as costs will double after AGM, from £40 to £80.

BGG has been saved by an interest free loan from Stuart Galbraith (Live Earth/Live 8 Guy).

If you want to become a shareholder go to the website or
info@big-green-gathering.com with subject line "share application form".

wicked! I'm definitely up for that! With any luck should even be able to afford it too!!!

BGG meet-up? Pic-nic @ the TeePee?
Let me & Fee know if you're going and want to come to the picnic!
If I have seen a little further it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants.

Yes - we will do our darndest to get there this year, and would LOVE to take tiffin at the teepee. There will be two uncontrollable monsters as ds2 is walking now. And he is an eater unlike his bro!

I sent a share holder application and a cheque ages ago (well before the AGM) and haven't heard anything since.

Maybe i need to get in contact with them.

Any idea about some dates yet?

I've booked off the first weekend in august (the wednesday before to the monday after) so i'm really hoping it'll be then - or on 3 days that i've go a 3 day weekend!

we sent off the application and haven't heard, so we are assuming (never assume, it makes an ass of u and me, I know) that its OK but we got an email newsletter. We think they may be busy getting it all sorted out, and that if you made your intention plain, things are probably ok :dontknow:

received a certificate today saying I was an official shareholder  BUT also there has been a lot of bs about this egm (extraordinary general meeting), and a lot of people booked time off and rooms to go to it only for it to be just for certain people so there is a bit of ill feeling at the mo regarding the treatment of shareholders. Dh was on the forum last night and there is a lot of anger out there.
There will be an egm in Brighton, in March I think, so I prob won't go to that as it is a wee bit far.

all seems a bit weird - guess we have to wait and see what transpires, or you could go there and ask some questions??? I don't think you are the only person dazed and confused by what's going on, judging by the forum.

Dh can't wait for Martin to get involved - it might even be the deciding factor as to whether a trip to Brighton is in order! :laughing6:
