There's a petition to sign on the website here, lets see if we can bump the signatures up from 476!Q. How many crème eggs does a battery hen help to lay each year?
A: About 300,000,000 according to Cadbury
Every single crème egg laid contains egg from a battery hen, but according to Cadbury’s website:
Crème eggs come into the world with a single purpose: to let their goo out…’
Cadbury’s ‘mission is to understand what makes each egg tick and set the goo free! ’
That might sound like good fun, but it’s NOT much fun for the hens stuck in their battery cages laying for
Cadbury in order that you can enjoy your goo.
We’d like Cadbury to concentrate on setting the hen free, rather than the goo and we’d like you to join our
positive campaign,
Free all Cadbury Creme Eggs!
Free all Cadbury Creme Eggs!
From the battery hen welfare trust

I know, it's annoying cos I love creme eggs. Hellmans have seen the light so hopefully Cadburys will change.

I had no idea they had eggs in either.
Am I the only one who likes creme eggs then?

They're not weeds - that's a habitat for wildlife, don't you know?
