Yep, that's a good idea. January is a bit of a dead month fruit wise, unless of course you live downunder!

Nev? What's yer fruit trees giving out at this time of year? Koalaberries etc. Ho ho ho.

I do remember there being sooo much wonderful fruit in the Queensland markets (Eumundi) when I visited. I became a fruit bat for the whole time I was there.

Yep, I remember the fantastic range of fruit and veg available in Melbourne - knocked my socks off at the prices too!!! Mmmmm delicious

The last time I made it I had varying results: Pure orange marmelade was rather stiff (slice of marmelade anybody? :shock: ), the 4-fruit marmelade was rather thin (good in yoghurt etc). I think it's a matter of plenty of experience to get it just right. Apart from that, there seem to be different ways of making it, but it was easy enough. I'll try and find the recipe...

Never tried it myself as my Dad makes GORGEOUS marm! However, might give it a go!... "Daaaaad...." (he's only 100miles away!)
