 Look into my eyes, you must make every orange thing turn blue.....

Actually, I was thinking that sometime in the summer it would be good to have a no forum day. Everyone decides on something ish to do, something that they have been putting off for ages. For me this would be making soap or cheese. Then come back the next day and talk about it. What you reckon????

One could start pestering the webmasters for a 'mobile skin' so one can use their PDA/mobile phone to read and post to 'ish. I know I do that for a couple of other messageboards... Imagine running across a problem or idea in the allotment or being out for a walk and then pulling out the phone and posting it on ish then and there!

Not that I want to make extra work for the webmaster.... :D

Trouble is, you all know why my memory is like, if I couldn't post straight away I'd forget what I'd done.

I think it's a nice idea to have a day when we all do something that we haven't done for a while or tried before. I might make some more paper (so can we chose a nice day please as it is soooo messy).

Ok, so on 13th August no one should be using ish. Instead this is do something day!!

Is this a plan shall we do it?

Why 13th Aug, well its when me and Dave were born so easy for me to remember and make sure we can have enough reminders. Also August is generally good weather here. Although what is it like in Australia and NZ?

We booked a hol recently and I've already asked if I can take the lap top and my slow cooker! Do I really sound like a sad puppy? It's just that when I come home I don't want to have to plough my way thru 3 million "View posts since your last visit" pages - Honest :angel5: :angel4:

I've been missing it and I'm not even away! Broadband link to the whole village is down and we're limping along at less than dial up speed and can't get emails. It was pandemonium in the post office as they couldn't pay anybody!

OH says I'm mad spending so long on the net but like oldtreeman, I just have to make all those oranges go blue!

I don't know if i couold do it....

However, if i have a whole day...i might finish the 3 jumpers i'm knitting...and the scrapbook i started... and i might actually sort out my home-made stuff cupboards (they're full of stuff that i might use for something homemade one day). And i could finish using all the oils i've got to make soap...

I'll see if i can get the day off work! Otherwise the boredom will send me hurtling back to Ish to see who's broken the day...

I think it's a great idea! I might finally dig out that knitting that's been sitting there for at least a DECADE    and see if I can get in the mood again. I've been thinking knitting quite a lot lately!

Unfortunately I expect I will be surrounded by inlaws about then, so probably won't get much chance to be on the internet anyway  much less any ME time.
