hi everyone, my name is tim&fatima and i'm a alcholic...oops..er.. wrong forum.

i live in the concrete block they call the west midlands, i don't take life too seriously and i seem to be getting greener by the day.

last year, my wife and i thought it would be good thing to get two chickens. looking for some inspriration we had a look on the interwebby thingy and we stumbled across the 'ish' site.. well now we have four chickens, we are looking to hatch our own this year, and i'm still talking myself into "having" one of our own chickens for Christmas.

With a new vegatable patch crammed into our small town garden ready for this years crops, we have a long way to go. but this web site has most certainly helped

Hiya Tim (I suppose Fatima is the wife? ) - welcome to the world of Ish!

You'd better watch it: I've known quite a few people getting hooked on chickens once they started hatching their own... Is your garden big enough?

hi everyone,
thank you very much, for taking time out to read (and reply) to my first post. This is a fantastic site, the warmth, knowledge and the community spirit is very refreshing.
I'm not too good with the internet and computery stuff and this is the first time i have "braved" a forum; I now feel i have more confidence and help in our goal as a family to become more self suff, and green.

P.S Just incase you were wondering, Tim&Fatima aren't our real names, they are the nicknames of Tom and Barbara in 'The Good Life' (I'm sure most of you already knew this)!!
