G'Day SSTU & welcome to the site!

While I am a virtual non-drinker these days, I remember making myself horribly nauseous on Southern Comfort and coke in my teenage years.........

Just a straight Coke (black fizzy liquid not white powder) for me thanks.

Sorry Ina,

I don't drink, smoke or associate with naughty women, so if I have to have a vice it has to be cheap, easily avaliable and not too lethal - so coke! I m trying to wean myself off it and do drink water but so far my efforts to come up with a palatable, home produced tipple have been an utter failure!

There you have it....

Coke keeps me awake better than coffee does - the last time I drank quantities of the stuff was while I was working on my MSc. Now I'm even trying to get off coffee - at least the full-blast type. Funny enough, with de-caf most of the time I am actually less tired overall.

I really hate Coke!

So much so, I won't have it in the house. My kids aren't allowed it as it drives them up the wall. (I have only experienced this a couple of times after them coming home from a birthday party and had to tear them off the ceiling!) They are quite happy with fruit juice and the celebratory lemonade on birthdays and Christmas.

Goodness, I am such a terrible mother. I am totally surprised that they still want to live with me.
