Hi SSTU and welcome -

Should be something homebrewed, ideally... Good idea, these virtual drinks. Cheap, and no problems with drink driving. And no arguments about who's round is the next one... Southern Comfort has never been my preferred bevvy - any good local ales in Manchester?

Am parched....oooh, so weeaaak.... can hardly type.

You have no idea how dry I am.

Hi SSTU! and welcome...

I'll have a virtual red wine if you are still offering : D

Ina... you a beer girl?? I ordered a case of Stinger - made in conjunction with Hugh Fearnley-Eatsitall from River Cottage and Badger beers - the name might suggest the ingredient..it's made with organic nettles and it's really tasty! In fact, we are going to have a go ourselves next year.

Slurp!!

Andy, was that a Freudian misprint??? Anything, as long as it's organic and "larger" (than what, I need to ask... ) Sorry, couldn't resist that.

Shirlz, I'm easy - depends on the mood I'm in. I prefer real ale to lager (large or otherwise...); I like both red and white wine - as long as it's dry. I'm not keen on liqueurs - too sweet. Saying that, a friend gave me a bottle of Scottish raspberry liqueur once that was so fruity that even I liked it. And I do enjoy a wee dram of single malt - ever had an Old Fettercairn? That's our local. Distillery is just 4 miles away. What I really don't like is vodka.

rofl I can't believe I missed the larger comment lol..

Haven't tried the Old Fettercairn - not that much of a whisky drinker really... red wine is my tipple and in fact will be opening a bottle for dinner shortly - we will be eating food as well... not just having the wine.

Rasp liqueur - we made the most fantastic raspberry gin when we last lived up here - had MASSES of fruit bushes in the garden and so got creative in the kitchen. Just got to find the cheapest way of getting stuff for our garden here now. Decisions decisions.

 Ah the larger, lager mishap one of them words that I always stuble on like cheif and chef.

Bath Ales do an organic lager and it is really good stuff. Crossed my mind to contact them and get it disributed further afield.

Anyway - they do have a website but couldn't see the organic larger in their shop www.bathales.com

I think it is only available on tap in a handful of pubs.
