Probably a bit late, but I read somewhere (Kitchen Garden mag?) that you can make paper out of vegetable peelings. If you made a card out of these, perhaps beetroot or red cabbage ink, then they could compost it afterwards

Hi Bigsis, sorry I missed your intro, I've been on my holidays. 8)

How about some seeds, a big basket or even a small basket of packets of seeds?

Or just a wholesome homemade foodie hamper with some nice bits in that are all natch?

Or invite them around to yours for a bit of nice nosh?
If in doubt ~ use a hammer!

Yeah, I do hope someone fed the poor boys.... I would hate to think they were scavenging mushrooms on their birthday.

I think Dave would like a funky hat. Something very different, or kind of eccentric. From an opshop or wacky retro designer.

Andy would dig a self sufficient flag for his pushbike, or a guest spot on Parkinson or some daytime talk show.

Ah ha rumbled! - I am looking for a new hat, I lost mine over the weekend - a poncho would be cool too, not sure how often I'd get to wear the poncho mind. I've got you're present now (Sharon - Bigsis) almost a month late  so I don't think there's any rush. I'll send it this afternoon.
