Well I have a full time job (for the time being at least) so can't spend as much time as I'd like being self sufficientish. I also dance (modern jive, Salsa, ballroom). I used to teach dance but gave up when work got in the way. DIY has taken up a lot of my time but the house is nearly finished now so can spend a bit more time in the garden. I do a lot of crafts when I get time but they are mostly ssish related as I like to make things out of recycled materials.

Viking-Age living history - including making the clothes and other items.
Reading all sorts of books when I get the time. Just read an interesting set of autobiographies by Kathleen Dayus.
Gigs when I can afford to go and there's someone decent on tour (amazing how these never seem to coincide).
Rugby when I can afford to go, Gloucester or Dudley Kingswinford.
Also have a rescued border collie who takes up a lot of time and four cats who I have to compete with for the sofa.

I would say that other than reading for pleasure , most of my hobbies are tied up with home and garden and improving the farm-anything I draw(And I'm no artist
) is either an arbor or a new garden bed or garden plans for the year.
I knit,sew,crochet,spool-knit,embroider and spend way too much time on the computer.
Today I have to weed the garlic-oh joy, Rick let the weeds get away and I hope I can find the garlic

I play darts (badly) for a local pub team. Every eight weeks or so it's my turn to play quiz mistress for the weekly charity Pub Quiz at the same pub. I read a fair amount and spend an unhealthy amount of time on my computer. For my sins I've been secretary of the local Chamber of Commerce since February.
Then there's Rex, my border collie cross, who requires an hour or so of exercise a day. That's when I'm not rescuing him from our lord and master, Oscar the polydactyl ginger tom.
