freezing elderflowers?

has anybody tried freezing elderflowers to use in recipes later in theyear. I think i will try an experiment but would love to know if anybody else has tried and what the results were

Yes, you can freeze elderflowers. However, use whatever comes out of the freezer - meltwater and all - in whatever recipe you're using. Chances are that most of the flavour will be in the water rather than the remnants of the flowers.
