Fridge Magnets

Post: # 133396Post StripyPixieSocks »

So there I was making myself some fridge magnets when my brother-in-law called and my OH was telling him that I was covered in glue and suddenly I found myself with some orders for Christmas Gifts... more fridge magnets!!

So I've been busy all day sticking stuff to glass beads and then sticking them to magnets lol but I'm really pleased so far :)

These were the first ones I made
These were the second ones
These are the sets which I'm going to divide up into three sets of 6

It's so nice to have found my creativeness again after so long of being ill and having felt like I had lost all my inspiration :(

I'm also working on my rain stick, and it was what gave me the ideas about doing the fridge magnets. I've got a nice green gem on the end now and bound it with some fluorescent green cord I've had hanging around forever... it's almost finished now at long last

It's also nice to finally finish off a whole raft of half finished jobs that were annoying me!!

Hee hee, thanks :)

I finished my rain stick this morning and after all that... I'm picking one up from Freecycle as well this evening lol!

I also made one of the slay bell sticks a while back with white leather, wood and some beautiful large bells I was given... I think I'm going to make another one  :reindeer:

oooo I love those magnets, nice to see a brit doing them too!!

Mod Podge is available on ebay but it's mighty expensive. It's PVA based so anything like that should work the same, but remember it's not waterproof.

damn I love the internet.

The blue ones are especially gorgeous! Well done SPS. :cooldude:
