Ideas for a spare windowsill please.

Post: # 137629Post SarahJane »

I have a spare windowsill in an unheated room (its quite chilly in there at the moment) and I was wondering if there was anything I could start off now, to be planted out later.
I cant put my mini greenhouse out for a while yet as it will end up doing a convincing act at being Dorothys house in the Wizard of Oz and dissappearing forever. It is usually just before Easter before I can put that out.
Any ideas of what I can start on the windowsill now? :flower:

It's not a bad time to start your tomatoes off if you're growing any (sorry forgot everything but bimbostar!). We always grow ours without heat - they grow more slowly but seem more sturdy and healthy than our neighbours who grow them in heat.
