scarf for my little brother. it says "I'd rather b @ a rick astley concert"... yes the c in rick was a mistake, but tom says it gives it charm. it stilll needs to be abcked with fleece cos it's very scratchy mohair, and i intend to stitch it onto the fleece using the cream yarn from the lettering and blanket stitch to make a feature of it.

i am so proud, this has taken me 2 weeks of evenings watching telly!!!

finished........

the outer is made of grey mohair and cream yarn, and the inner is made from two fleece scarves bought for £1 each from poundland and is embroidered on one end with the words of the first verse and chorus of "never gonna give you up". the creases don't show you all of it, but honestly it's all the words.

it's taken me 2 weeks of evening telly watching, plus two solid hours this morning finising off. I'm not sure i'm gonna wait until his birthday to be honest.

aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhh self satisfaction.

thanks!! i am rather proud of the photo. hubby took it, i photoshopped the hell out of it (though only to make it look like an old over-painted photo, not to change messiness of hair or skin or owt; though i did make my hair purple when it's actually mousey blonde... lol!)
