early potatoes
hi has anyone planted their earlies yet in east anglia? as i was wondering when to do it

Re: early potatoes
A wee bit too early yet I should think.
Mine are in but I live in a virtually frost free area similar to the Channel Islands.
If you want to be sure measure your soil temperature at about 6" depth and if it's over 7 degrees centigrade they will grow OK.
Under that I would wait a bit.

Re: early potatoes
Still a tad early I think. I'm in Lincolnshire so not too far from you and I am planning to get mine in in a couple of weeks time.
