North East Georgia USA
Anyone on the forum live in north east Georgia USA? I would like to know what i should do to get my soil in shape for when i get a garden going. I am new at this and dont know if georgia clay is good for growing. Thanks, Randy

Hi Randy,
In general clay is not bad to have in a garden, but it can be quite heavy to work. I'm no expert , but afaik no matter what the soil, you can't go wrong with working in lots of compost. My allotment has clay soil and after 3 years of steadily working in compost it's becoming very nice soil.
